Accounting states

There are three states for Accounting in Mambu - Disabled, Setup in Progress and Active.

If it's Disabled, accounting transactions won't be logged and the Chart of Accounts will have no entries.

When you enable Accounting, its state will change to Setup in Progress. In this state you'll be able to change the accounts in the Chart of Accounts, link your organization's Products to Accounts, manage accounting permissions for users. In this state the accounting transactions won't be logged either.

Finally, in the Active state, the journal entries will start being captured.

  2.

  3. Give the other users who will be working with accounting the Permissions to access it
  4. Set up your Chart of Accounts
  5. Link your Loan and Saving Products to the General Ledger accounts by setting up all the Product Actions
