Link products with GL accounts
When Accounting is active this is a required step to activate your organization's products. It will make sure the most common transactions with accounting implications in loan and savings products will be automatically logged therafter. Before you're able to link your products with GL accounts you need to create your Chart of Accounts. Once this is done and after creating the products go to Accounting > click on Product Rules
You'll see a list of action items that correspond to the transactions that will be automatically logged. Click on the product you want to set the rules for > click on the dropdown menus to select the appropriate debit and credit accounts > Save Changes.
